ABSTRACT

Kumpulan Manajemen Bandwidth Menggunakan Router MikrotikIn the development of computer network technology today the router becomes an alternative in the bandwidth settings, in addition to its function as a liaison between two or more networks to forward data from one network to another network. Based on the need for good bandwidth management, the network bandwidth management is designed by applying the Hierarchical Token Bucket (HTB) queue discipline to linux-based pc routers. Based on the results of planning, each user can we allocate different bandwidth in order to avoid large bandwidth usage by one user. Based on the analysis, HTB implementation can control the throughput of each client, each client can use bandwidth that is not being used (idle) and can also be used to allocate bandwidth, where 1 Mbps bandwidth can be divided into 384 kbps, 512 kbps, 192 kbps and 64 kbps and produce an average transfer rate of 125 KB / s.
