ABSTRACT

Late delays in lectures, collecting tasks even when Quis and dishonesty in Quis are often done by students, dishonesty by using technology is also found, for example taking pictures of test results then sent to other friends. Therefore it is necessary to do research that aims to develop the character honest , discipline, friendly, independent and hard work. This research uses classroom action research (PTK) by implementing lesson study with the Quis Team Type Active Method, which is accomplished by 2 cycles and through 4 stages of planning, implementation, observation and reflection. The subject of this research is the students of Economics Education of the fourth semester of academic year 2014/2015. Research data obtained from observation sheet, documentation photo. This research data is taken from the process of lecturing. The results show that the character is honest, disciplined, friendly, independent and hard work. Honest character is indicated by the number of students who express opinions in accordance with their beliefs of 76.45, Not cheating in doing the task of 75.7%,  completed the task in accordance with the rules given in cycle I of equal to  72.9%  and increased in cycle II to 83.1%, 77.0%, 75.7%; and disciplinary students:  Orderly in doing the tasks of 75%,  obeying the rules of speech specified in a class discussion by 75%,  increase in cycle II of 76.4% and 77.0%. Students with friendly character: teamwork in 77%; ▪ Giving opinion in teamwork 74.3% increased in cycle II to 77.7% and 75.7%; students with independent character: Completed his own tasks with responsibilities with a score of 73.6%  in cycle II increased to 75.7%. Students with hard work character: Not despair in facing learning difficulties with score 72,3%, Trying to find information about material from various sources score 83,8%; Using time effectively to complete tasks with a score of 73.6% in cycle II rose to 75.7%; 85.1% and 77.7% Keywords: Lesson Study,  Active Method Type Quis Team, Character
