ABSTRACT

Indonoor is a ship that sank on the edge of the island of Kemujan, Karimunjawa Islands in 1960. Often passage of time, the wall wrecked Indonoor ship covered by various coral reefs. This makes the location of Indonoor wreck forming a coral reef ecosystem that has great potential in the field of tourism and fisheries and is now one of the important dive points in Karimunjawa. With coral reefs that live on iron walls and bodies of vessels, it is possible to have various types of biota associated with coral reefs in the bagkai, one of which is Echinodermata. This study aims to determine the diversity of fauna species echinoderms on the Indonoor shipwrecks. The observation of echinodermnata fauna was done by dive and observation on 4 parts of shipwreck wreck 2005 and September 2006 using census method with modification of line transect and transect square. The results showed that there were 12 species from 4 classes of Echinodermata in the 2005 study of Acanthaster plancii, Fromia nomilis, Linckia laevigata from Asteroidea class; Comanthina sp, Comanthus sp, Stephanometra sp from Crinoidea class; Diadema setosum, Savigny diadema, Echinometra mathei from class Echinoidea; Holothuria atra, Holothuria edulis, Stychopus ananas from class Holothuroidea. While in observation in 2006 found as many as 13 species from 4 classes namely Culcita novaguinae, Fromia nomilis, Linckia laevigata from class Asteroidea; Comanthina sp, Comanthus sp, Stephanometra sp from Crinoidea class; Diadema setosum, Savigny diadema, Echinometra mathei, Echinotrix calamaris of the class Echinoidea; Holothuria atra, Holothuria edulis, Stychopus ananas from class Holothuroidea.
