ABSTRACT

Images produced by Students of PAUD IKIP PGRI Semarang force of 2009/2010 have similarities or symptoms of nekrokultural between the work of one with other works, both in composition and visualized objects. The cause is the inability of students to think in a paradigmatic or associative axis. On the basis of this, this study proves and maps the typological nekrokultural on the picture. The objective of the research was to identify the characteristics of typological nekrokultural forms in the student drawings of class of 2009/2010. The research used descriptive qualitative approach with textual analysis method. Technique of taking data through documentation, observation, and interview. Data analysis was performed on the structure of visual elements by using content analysis as heuristic stage and theme analysis as hermeneutic stage. Based on the results of the study concluded that 70 drawings produced by the students of Early Childhood Education (PAUD) force year 2009/2010 in paradigmatic and synagmatic there are three categories. Category A, images are monotonous and poor, amounting to 69%. Category B, the image is moderate, amounting to 29%. Category C, the image is good, amounting to 11%. Based on the categorization, then only 11% who have shown the level of creativity is good that is in category C. On the basis of that then the advice can be given is the student as a candidate Kindergarten teachers need to develop more images in a more creative as stock aesthetic experience, especially in improving aspects paradigmatic and syntagmatic.
