ABSTRACT

This research is conducted because there is no relevant media especially on the subject of physics. This study aims to find out the development design of Moodle-based e-learning Portal on Physics subjects; product validity results; and test the effectiveness of the product on learning outcomes. This study is a developmental study that is accompanied by a pre- experiment. The development model used is the ADDIE model. The validation subjects consisted of subject content experts, learning design experts, learning media experts, three students for individual trials, twelve students for small group trials, and forty-three students for field trials. Then one class is used to test the effectiveness of the product. Data collection methods used are document recording, questionnaire and pretest-posttest. Data analysis techniques used are quantitative descriptive analysis, descriptive qualitative analysis, and inferential statistical analysis. The results showed that (1) a Moodle-based e-learning media developed based on the designed design, (2) the product validity result shows the media does not need to be revised, it is seen from: according to expert test the content of the subjects showed very good category (97 , 3%), according to the test of the design of learning design is in very good category (90,7%), according to expert media test showed very good category (91,6%), based on individual test show very good category (90%) , based on small group trial is in good category (89,4%), and based on field trial show very good category (90,88%), and (3) product effectiveness test result there is difference of student learning result before and after use Moodle-based e-learning portal, the average pretest score is smaller than the posttest average score of 63.90 versus 92.39.
